Merch/Platform update
Pop-up sale was successful, however these was an issue with the account where the sales money went
Ethan working to build an entirely new platform that will work without website; the platform operates like a normal online store
New platform will allow us to sell merch, Barristers tickets, and more
First product on this new platform will be the Barristers tickets
Restock Sale
Will go live when the new platform is available
Fail Procedures
Lots of test runs
Use last year's link for ticket sales (last resort)
Food Update
Hot food options available at side bar soon
Vice President of Finance:
Most recent numbers are in the December spreadsheet. The SBA funds number is a $1,000 more than it should be (this is from the 'as needed' fund for food for students). The checks that should have gone out for the students who got the based upon need scholarship haven't been deducted yet. I've emailed main university about the checks but haven't heard back yet, but once those checks go out we will have approximately $10,004 in CSU funds and $7,018 in SBA funds.

Graduation cords
Order before spring break (March 8, 2026)
Process
Vendor: Honors Graduation: https://www.honorsgraduation.com/honor-cords.htm?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=768743942&gbraid=0AAAAADixMmSUMdHwY-vH5nMLdxlLYftNh&gclid=Cj0KCQiA1JLLBhCDARIsAAVfy7hdq8jE2CHMZ417PqjrFp77iEtd3-1OIY8IMH3pZRSOtiRUE8ffTjAaAt6oEALw_wcB
Currently x students eligible for at least 1 cord. We also order all of the admin cords. Students are limited to three cords.
Students requesting cords have to pay for their own cords. Admin will pay for admin cords.
Three cord limit – issue with the hoods of the grad gown
Executive members of students organizations get a cord; class reps and non-executive members do not get a student organization cord
The cords SBA coordinates are for student organizations only
Administration handles all other cords
Pick up date TBD
Information emails will be sent out separately by Keana and again by Dean Summers
Costs
Does SBA want to set aside an amount of money in the event that a student cannot afford their cords? Same process as earlier in the year with the money to help students in need?
Possibility to set aside $300 (tabled for voting on a later date)
Shipping
Is SBA going to pay for shipping and/or are we going to adjust the cost charged to students/admin to cover shipping?
If ordered by March 8, then we can lock in the $4 shipping and lower price per cord
Do not tell 3Ls when the cords arrive until Keana gives us the go-ahead.
Last date to Pick-up Cords - May 14th at 7:00 pm
